Name: Mentor Program | Forum for Women Entrepreneurs | Applications Open to Mentees and Mentors
Date: December 5, 2018 - February 15, 2019
Event Description:
Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE), a national charity supporting women entrepreneurs across Canada has opened applications for both Mentees (women entrepreneurs) and Mentors (men or women looking to give back) for its’ upcoming renowned and long-running Mentor Program intake. Founded in 2002, FWE has been running its tried-and-true educational and mentorship programs across Canada, and has helped thousands of women take their business to the next level. This is an opportunity for those passionate about Mentorship to get involved as either a Mentee or a Mentor (or both!). What is the Mentor Program? A program that encourages women entrepreneurs to push their businesses to the next level and supports their growth by pairing them with experienced business leaders for 12 months of 1:1 mentorship (one hour per month). What is a Mentor? An experienced and trusted advisor acting as a sounding board; providing feedback on how to grow your business. Who is it for? The Mentor Program is open to women entrepreneurs across Canada of all industries, sizes and stages, from start-ups to companies over $5M in revenues. We can pair you with someone in the same city, or from another province, depending on your mentorship preferences and business needs. 2,000+ Mentors & Mentees have been successfully paired since 2002. 87% of Mentees recently surveyed reported that they felt confident about future business plans. With 50% of our pairings meeting remotely we know that we can support entrepreneurs across the country with the support that they need, regardless of geographical barriers. Access to education and mentorship is key to FWE’s mission to leave no woman behind. Applications close February 15, 2019.
