An afternoon for employers and employment programs to gather and discuss the successes and challenges of hiring refugees and displaced Ukrainians, and the available supports. Hosted by the Fraser Valley Refugee Readiness Team and Local Immigration Partnerships, join us to: hear the stories of a newcomer searching for employment; address newcomers' skills to close labour shortage gaps; learn from a series of panelists including an Immigration Specialist, an Employment Program representative, and an Employer with experience hiring newcomers.
