Abbotsford Arts Council is hosting a free family event Sunday June 4, 2017 from 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm located at 2387 Ware Street, Abbotsford. In recognition of Aboriginal Awareness Month, Abbotsford Arts Council is honored to present the 2nd Annual Aboriginal Arts and Culture Day, an opportunity for the community to come and learn about Aboriginal Arts, Culture, History and Traditions. You will have the rare and unique opportunity to watch Aboriginal artists create their work on site and enjoy the option to purchase directly from the artist. The center stage will feature traditional Sto:lo story tellers, holistic teachings, Metis jiggers and fiddlers, drummers and dancers. We are proud to announce that this year we will be adding The Bannock Wagon food truck to our event. So come on down and learn, engage and enjoy our unique Aboriginal & Metis arts and culture experience
