Katie and Gary Syroid are the proud owners of Hugs in a Mug Coffee Bistro.  Their dream of one day owning their own business came to fruition in August 2020 when they opened the doors of Hugs in a Mug Coffee Bistro located in Parallel Marketplace in East Abbotsford. Katie?s love of baking comes through in the fresh baked goods they sell every day, from scratch-made cinnamon rolls, lemon bars, scones, muffins, brownies, and cookies.  The sandwiches are made fresh to order and they are known for their dietary options.  If you are needing keto, gluten-free or dairy alternatives, they have what you need.   They support local by using local businesses to provide their coffee, dog treats, and popcorn.  They donate gift certificates, goodies, and their time to various charitable organizations in the city.
